How We Work

We always start with a one-on-one conversation about your needs and how we might be able to help. This is a time to get to know one another a little bit better and to exchange preliminary information about how we might work together.

We develop a proposal for your review to make sure we captured your key needs correctly and to outline our plan of action to help you solve your problem or take advantage of a new opportunity. We price our proposals either on a project basis, on a recurring monthly retainer basis, or based on time and materials depending on the nature of the specific problem or opportunity and our agreed upon plan to solve or leverage it. We are always open to your feedback on both scope and plan. We want to develop a process that meets your needs and your particular organization completely.

Our first action plan step is always to start with more in-depth conversations with your team. We don’t pretend to know more than your leadership team about your business or your industry. We are process experts but you are the expert on your particular business. These one-on-one or small group sessions help us more deeply understand the problem or opportunity, past successes or failures, and the environment in which you operate. At this stage, depending on the engagement, we often research and benchmark outside of the organization as well.

In this stage of the relationship, we roll up our sleeves and get to work with your team to drive to an actionable result or solution.  Each engagement is different depending on the problem we’re tackling but this stage can often include empathy interviews with key stakeholders, redefining the key problems and opportunities, developing new ideas, and creatively testing new solutions prior to roll-out so that you have confidence in the solution before investing time and money in the full rollout.

Once we have developed a tested solution for your needs, we work with your team to prepare to roll out and execute this solution.
