Introduction to Design Thinking Workshops


Over the two days, participants will learn how to tap into their own creativity to solve problems and leverage opportunities using new insights.  By starting with a deep understanding of key customer needs (internal, business-to-business, or business-to-consumer) and by encouraging the removal of the inherent biases that we all tend to bring to our own work, attendees will learn how to generate more impactful and divergent actionable ideas and how to collaborate more effectively with team members.


Our workshops are attended by executives representing a wide range of industries and roles within their organizations. These workshops are a great learning tool for companies wanting to send 1-4 leaders to explore the concept.



The workshop includes a two-day hands-on learning experience during which participants will:

  • Learn the 5 steps of Design Thinking - a customer-centered innovation process used by top companies like Pfizer, Jet Blue and GE Healthcare

  • Practice the tools learned by applying them to a real-world problem for an outside organization

  • Work in diverse teams with executives from other organizations

  • Create an action plan to apply these new tools to your own business

  • Receive personal instruction from expert Design Thinking coaches

  A post-workshop coaching call with Design Quake​ is included

Each participant will learn how to:

  • Gain deep customer insights and identify key opportunities

  • Leverage diverse viewpoints to increase the quality and quantity of new ideas

  • Put ideas into action and test them with customers quickly and inexpensively

  • Gain meaningful customer feedback to improve on ideas and re-test
